Welcome again citizens!
Post 2 and another homework to do in The Grifo's Blog!
This time I wanna talk 'bout my creative process. But, chotto matte! What's a creative process? Well, I dunno exactly what it is but I can quote (more or less) one of my Experimental Painting teachers: "The creative process (in fact, the creative genius) is not related to the originality and -uniqueness- of your reflexive moments and the finished work, it's more like linking the experience with the working methodology and modify that on your own way to make something great". I really have no idea what was he talking about but was emotive.
But what I can understand is that no artistic piece is completely original. Always you have an inspiration on someone's work (or an entire style... the idea is another one in the past did already something similar than yours). In my case, I don't know anybody! Really... I mean, I love to draw anime style, cartoon, illustration, animation, and even painting, but I know no name of any artist. Well, that's no totally true... I could mention Hideaki Anno, creator and director of Evangelion, my favorite cartoon of all the time! I was inspired (not in him, his anime) in the creation of my new, a li'l dark and gore [top secret] comic series (coming soon).
My ideas comes from anywhere... but mostly in the mentioned styles I like. Sometimes inspiration awakes, and I start to work. Flowers? Blumenmädchen attacks! (coming soon). A mythologic world where creatures smoke marihuana? Gregorio Griffindoor and his friends join the battle! (working in process). All of this weirdo stuff is made on paper, with a pen, or in a painting... or in digital! Yes! Like an Illustrator :D. I think this is the best way to do, because, well, that's the tradition, isn't it?
Finally, the last question of the homework makes me talk about the experience while I'm creating and the experience as a spectator when I finish my own work. Ufff... anyway. What can I say? Fascinating! Frustrating... a mix of emotions. Because, this is art, and art is my life. The more I create, the more experience. And when someone says that my work isn't art, who cares? It gives me more enchant for this I love.
And stopping being sentimental, I leave you, and I hope you enjoy this and the other blogs. See you next time and believe in Grifo!

Hello again my readers! (too soon for calling you readers?) This is suppose to be the third post already, but it counts as second in my ENGLISH HOMEWORK list.
Let's start so!
I've never been in a concert (well, I was in a "tocata" someday) so I gonna tell ya 'bout one of my many vacations in my homeland: OVALLE. Where is it? In Chile, IV Region of Coquimbo. Why this location in special? Because I had not enough money to travel farther... and my family live there too. Hehehe, kidding, I love to share with my family.
The last time I was there was for Fiestas Patrias, so I stay a week. I traveled alone, I have nobody here in Santiago (so sad). When I arrived, the first thing I did was sleeping. Next day, a Sunday, I met with a friend, and with my uncle and granpa in my house we began to drink and drink wine. It was cool. Then I waited a few days sober, until the moment for real celebration: "El dieciocho".
This vacation was funny, short but enjoyful. I don't know if it was my best, but how I never travel to my birthplace due my studies, I remember this one with affection. Ohhh... I want to stay more time with them!
And that's all for today. It was short I know; it's difficult to write when you are ran out of inspiration o topic... I mean, it wasn´t a great vacation like travel affroad, and i just can talk a little because there is not much to talk about. But anyway, enjoy that! That's the idea.
So my good friends, farewell, and see you in a next post with more ENGLISH HOMEWORK. Be careful and take compassion with the Grifo!
A (FAR AWAY) COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT
Greetings my people and welcome to my first new blog I made 99 percent in English! This is some kind of homework, so don't take it so seriously.
As my first activity I've to write about a country I want to visit, and you're lucky today 'cuz I really have a place to go someday... And that is JAPAN!
But wait a moment! Why JAPAN (Nihon)??? Well, I must confess I like anime, manga and those kind of things. Also I want to learn the language, with all its kanji, hiragana and katakana, on'yomi and kun'yomi lectures... It's very "funny" to do, I believe... ( -.-')
But anyway, I'd really love to be there. The first thing I'd do was visiting the animation studios I appreciate: Khara Studios (which made the 3 first movies "Rebuild of Evangelion", with the 4th still in production), The Ghibli Musseum (So sad about the studios closing), Toei Animation... and others in this moment I can't remember. Second, go to Akibahara: merchandising everywhere! Meet all those "Otakus", "maids" and strange people, hehehe... Third, relax and visit typical places like shrines and temples (XD).
Besides, Japan has one of the best index of life quality in the world, so is a place I would like to live. As an artist maybe... Just imagine how will be the life sorrounded with mangakas, animators and all kind of products... Fascinating! Or creepy perhaps... No everything in the planet is about Anime, also I wanna meet the love there, and it seems to be pretty shy women in there. At least that's anime shows me. (Freakin' Anime!)
And that's for now, 'cause I don't have anyelse to tell. Remember to comment and visit my other entrances. I'll see you next time with more ENGLISH HOMEWORK, and of course, behold the Grifo!
